Oman covers an area of about 309.500 km and it is the third largest country in terms of area in the Arabian Peninsula. Oman is bounded in the north-east by the gulf of Oman and south-east by Arabian Sea, south-east by Saudi Arabia and the UAE. It has four governorates: Dhofar, Muscat, Mosandam and AL Boraimy. Moreover, there are five regions which are: AL Batina, AL Sharqia, AL Daheran, AL Dakhilia and AL Waste.
